Chandra Residence
History of our home
This is a great place to add a tagline.
Our family dreamed of building a large family home for us all to share our daily lives.
In the many interim years, our home has grown into the Shangri-la that now sits, confidently, but half-hidden in the native flora.
With my background in architecture and interior design. The journey has been a precious and unforgettable one, seeing my own young family blossom in tandem with our surrounds.
New horizons are calling us, though. A new chapter for us, and a new one in the life of the home which has nurtured us.
Soon it will be time to welcome a new owner to this very special place, to begin another wonderful journey of discovery.
Chandra Residence is a connoisseur’s delight.
This is a great place to add a tagline.

A lush tropical Shangri-la, lying over eight thousand square metres bordering National Parklands in the breezy foothills of Doi Suthep Mountain, Chiang Mai, this unique property has enjoyed a poetic metamorphosis during the past 15 years, evolving intuitively with our relaxed approach to life and offering a blend of luxury, warmth and playfulness.

The life-flow of the residence makes it unparalleled in terms of its possible future incarnations, from a luxury, family home to a collaborative space for creative companies or a distinctive hotel.
Access to the four main buildings on the property, the Master residence, the weekend villa and the Caretaker residence has by way of three vehicular entrance gates.
Inside, the personality is discreet and welcoming, appointed with all modern conveniences and attention to lighting throughout.
Multi-functional, open-plan rooms, where artifacts assume their place under high, vaulted ceilings, along with deep, sweeping verandas, offer a space for every occasion or eventuality, from the intimate to the grandiose.
The tasteful combination of hand-fired brick and teak-wood architectural features, all created by local artisans, becomes a sprawling, empathetic canvas for the numerous species of indigenous flora, which filter the light and breathe life into this organic space; a space where the seamless blend of the old with the new is more than mere daring and ingenuity, it is a veritable labour of love, one which imbues the residence with its inimitable heart and soul. Indeed there is a tangible seductiveness here, which no visitor can deny.
