Touting French cooking techniques combined with Thai foodways, Chef 'Nan' Leelawat Mankongtiphan takes the beloved flavours of Thai cuisine and transforms food into art. His creations are inspired by nature and their charming presentation, combined with the elegantly rustic space, add a level of storytelling to a delicious meal. Located just outside the city (but not far from Chandra Residence) Cuisine de Garden is a must try for any fan of molecular gastronomy and unique experiences. You must try the sous vide served in a "nest" of crispy rice noodles topped with an onsen egg.

A relative newcomer to Chiang Mai's fine dining scene, the Oxygen Dining room sits under a gorgeous canopy of trees along Chiang Mai's riverside. Enjoy stunning views of the water from the modern, glass-walled dining room or dine al fresco on the terrace.

Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Isnard crafted the inventive menu, and we recommend trying his deconstructed take on khao soi, a Chiang Mai classic.

Chef Alexandre Demard now heads the kitchen sourcing local, seasonal ingredients for his creations, which flip everything you think you knew about Thai flavours and cuisine on its head.

Chef Nicolas Isnard brings his formidable experience – which has already earned his restaurant in France a one Michelin star – to Chiang Mai, where he has created a menu overseen by Chef Alexandre Demard serving modern French cuisine, alongside some tres creative Thai-inspired dishes.

More than just a restaurant, L'Elephant is a boutique, bistro and gallery all in one. The fanciful decor and objet d’arts don't, however, don't distract from the food, and Chef Pathapee Moonkonkaew serves an authentically French menu of fine cuisine.

Enjoy favourites like duck confit and beef tartare or sample delicacies specially flown in, like French Dover Sole, Japanese Kasago Fish or Nordic Fjord Trout.

Intimate tables set in nooks make this perfect for a romantic evening, or large groups can opt to take over a private dining room.

A unique chef's table concept, this intimate dining experience is located, but of course, in Chiang Mai's hip Nimmanhaemin neighbourhood. The young gourmand behind the concept, Chef Black, draws inspiration from the seasonal fresh ingredients available locally and also selects special items to be flown in to craft an artisanal menu that is never repeated twice. With only three tables, reservations are an absolute must and seats are often booked out months in advance. A self-taught chef, Black is brilliantly inventive and passionate about his ingredients.

For a truly special experience, you can also book a food and cooking workshop with him.

Not dining but could not be excluded from the finest , we all love some sweet.

Elegant, bright from the rays shining down from the sun-roof, a sophisticated patisserie serving cakes, tarts, torts and sweet pastries at a quality and level of aesthetics hard to find in our city.

For Pastry Chef Saruda ‘View’ Virat, this is a labour of love: waking up hours before the sun stretches its morning rays, and baking her beloved desserts which are almost too beautiful to bite into — almost!

View has been baking for a decade, and is inspired by how beautiful and delicious a perfect treat can be. She is constantly on the lookout to improve her skills and has been investing heavily on world class equipment and the best possible ingredients. But most importantly, she has been investing in herself, having spent time studying under Cedric Grolet, voted The World’s Best Pastry Chef in 2018 as well as Julien Alvarez, who won The Champion of the World in 2011 — both, industry titans.
